Andrew Bynum may argue there's little distinction in the style of physical play, and JJ Barea may be prepared to agree ... if he could breathe long sufficient to spit out a complete sentence.

Bynum, the Los Angeles Lakers' center, put an elbow to the ribs of the Dallas Mavericks' Barea in Sunday's playoff game that gave Dallas a surprising four-game sweep of the Western Conference semifinals sequence.

A Titanic brawl

Emotions boiled more than for Texans WR Andre Johnson and Titans CB Cortland Finnegan in Week twelve at Reliant Stadium. Sure, it's tame in comparison to the others on this page, but Hillis, understanding now the punishment administered by Zbikowski in the ring this offseason, is most likely counting his blessings. The debate raged on -- and probably still does -- on whether or not Browns security T.J. Ward's vicious hit in the finish zone on Bengals WRJordan Shipley was illegal. Was it helmet-to-helmet contact? Or did Ward hit him with the shoulder, as he claimed? Does not matter, truly, simply because the NFL still believed it had been correct in fining Ward $15,000 for that hit, which drew a flag through the refs.
Heap of trouble

A big Week 6 matchup in between the new England Patriots and Baltimore Ravens was bound to have some large hits, and none was bigger -- or even more questionable -- compared to one Patriots defensive back Brandon Meriweatherdelivered to Ravens tight end Todd Heap.
